The aluminium melting furnace is made out of mild steel casing and coated with two coats of heat resistance Aluminium paint. The inner chamber will be built with the combination of lightweight refractory bricks & ceramic blanket. Suitable Crucible base will be placed at the bottom of the furnace to take the crucible load along with molten metal.
Heating Elements: Suitably rated silicon carbide heating elements will be provided all round the crucible for uniform heating.
Thyristor Control Panel: The control panel will be made out of M.S.box and it consists of pilot lamps, ammeters, voltmeter selector switch, temperature controller, ON/OFF switch, fuse units, Thyristor unit, C.T. coils, energy meter etc.
